Father Calvin Robinson, the British conservative clergyman and political commentator, has announced his engagement to Madeline Page, a 21-year-old American pro-life activist, revealing her to the public for the first time in footage posted on X by presenter Dan Wootton on 3 November 2026.

Wootton opened the segment by naming Robinson his "Greatest Briton" and telling him: "This is your fiancée revealed to the world today. I know the outspoken audience are going to be so excited about this."

Robinson described his fiancée as "a wonderful Christian woman from a wonderful Christian family, very wholesome, virtuous, and very right-wing."

Page is a Cardiff University philosophy graduate who specialised in morality, ethics, and abortion, and serves as a spokesperson for Right to Life UK and director of the Alliance of Pro-Life Students, where she is a regular commentator on UK media.

Robinson told Wootton he had prayed to God "to either introduce me to a good Christian woman or remove my desire for marriage," and that God "made it very clear that Madeline was the woman for me."

He added that between them the couple had "experienced a lot of signs," saying God is "sometimes very on the nose and makes things clear."

The couple are, Robinson confirmed, "engaged to be married next year."

On the proposal itself, Robinson said he went to Page's father first: "I met with her father and I asked for his blessing. He gave me his blessing."

He explained the traditional approach was deliberate — because he publicly advocates for how "men should be traditionalists," he said he had to "model best practice."

Robinson framed the engagement in broader cultural terms, arguing that Christians "don't have to be contemporary modernists" and do not have to "interact with the world in the way that the leftists and the liberals and the devil says we do."

He said one of the ways Christians "take back Christendom" is to "get married, you have children, you teach them the faith — simple as that."

Page is from Michigan, and Robinson said: "I love Michigan, it's fantastic, and I love this woman, Madeline," adding that if "both things line up" he would remain there after the wedding — prompting Wootton to joke: "We've lost you forever, Father Calvin."

Robinson also said he plans to document his experience of traditional courtship in a podcast once married, recording "this is how I did it, this is how it can still be done" as a guide for other traditionalist men.

When Wootton read out a live-chat comment — "baby Calvin's incoming" — Robinson replied simply: "All things in the right order."

Wootton closed by telling Robinson the news had been "the best news" on "a very dark day," and Robinson expressed hope Wootton would attend the wedding.

"I've got to be, I've got to be," Wootton replied.
