CCTV footage released by detectives shows a man they wish to trace in connection with the fatal shooting of Erdem Mustafa at a Hertford Road pub in Enfield on 19 October.

The victim of a fatal pub shooting in Enfield has been named as 35-year-old Erdem Mustafa, as detectives renew their appeal for information and release CCTV footage of a man they want to trace.

Mustafa was gunned down at a pub on Hertford Road in Enfield on Monday, 19 October, according to the Metropolitan Police appeal.

Officers were called to reports at around 9.30pm and attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance.

Emergency services treated Mustafa for gunshot wounds, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have yet to make any arrests, and the inquiry into the circumstances of his death continues.

Specialist officers are continuing to provide support to his next-of-kin, the Met appeal stated.

Heading up the investigation, Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo said: "Our thoughts remain with Erdem's loved ones following what is undoubtedly a tragic and senseless act that led to his death."

"We recognise local concerns following this incident and while detectives are keeping an open mind, we believe this to be a targeted attack," he said.

The chief inspector made a direct appeal to the public for help with the investigation, asking anyone who has not yet come forward to do so.

"We are still urging those who have not yet come forward to do so if they have any information to share, or any CCTV, doorbell, dashcam or mobile phone footage," Bhangoo said.

"No detail is too small, and we urge anyone who can help to contact us," he added.

Anna Mccartney, the Chief Superintendent responsible for policing in the area, said: "We continue to recognise the concern local people have after this incident and can reassure them that detectives are working at pace to find those responsible for Erdem's death."

Mccartney confirmed that additional officers will stay in the area following the shooting, according to the Met appeal.

"Extra officers remain in the area to offer further reassurance," she said.

"Serious violence has no place in our community. The Met is committed to tackling gun crime, and we are determined to hold those who seek to do serious harm to account," Mccartney added.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting CAD 7050/19OCT26, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
