£3m-a year ex-Leicester captain Wes Morgan must pay £137,000 child maintenance to each of two mothers after claiming he was UNEMPLOYED

Wes Morgan told the Child Maintenance Service in September 2021 that he was unemployed, and his payments were cut to nil. A tribunal later found he had been earning between £220,000 and £240,000 a year. Lady Justice King dismissed his Court of Appeal bid against Leyla Antoniou. She also reinstated Karla Morrell's claim to enforce a sum exceeding £137,000, uprated for inflation.
Morgan was earning around £3 million a year when the first consent order was made in 2020.
CMS fraud investigators overturned his nil rate in 2023 after finding misrepresentation.
Morgan has now admitted in writing that the zero payment was wrong because of his rental income.
