£850,000 Valhalla supercar helps Aston Martin narrow its losses, with revenue up 36% and an open-top £1.3m Spider unveiled

Aston Martin posted a stronger third quarter, with the £850,000 Valhalla Coupe lifting gross margin to 37% and cutting free cash outflow sharply from £94m to £28m. The British carmaker has delivered around 350 Valhallas this year and is targeting 500 by December. Chief executive Adrian Hallmark said the results showed the company was on track, as Aston Martin revealed the open-top Spider variant — which is nearly sold out even though production will not start until the second half of 2027.
Net debt rose to £1.57bn after a new £450m term loan was completed in July, while core model volumes fell 9% year-on-year.
The Valhalla has pushed average selling prices 25% higher this year, with the Spider priced at £1.3m.
Aston cut nearly 600 jobs in February following deeper annual losses, making Wednesday's narrowing pre-tax loss of £77m a significant marker in Lawrence Stroll's restructuring effort.
