A body is found in Mugdock Country Park in the search for a Glasgow teenager, 17, missing since Monday

Kristijonas Demcenko, 17, was last seen at around 2.30pm on Monday on Mugdock Road in Milngavie, heading towards the car park. Concern mounted after he failed to attend an important appointment in Glasgow on Wednesday. The body was discovered on Friday, and his family have been informed, though formal identification has not yet taken place. Police Scotland are not treating the death as suspicious.

Officers had asked members of the public to review any dash cam or doorbell footage that might show him.

The case will be referred to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
