'A liar and a pervert': El Paso Republican chief plans to sue Sacha Baron Cohen over Ali G film

Michael Aboud, chair of the El Paso County Republican Party, says he was told the project was a documentary about illegals crossing the border. He flew to California in summer 2025 and found Cohen disguised as ex-Mossad expert Col Erran Morad. Aboud says he refused to wear underwear with a pistol for a penis: 'hell no.' He calls Cohen 'a disgusting pig'.

In the film, Aboud helps Morad abduct a heavily pregnant woman in a fake ambulance.

Cohen says he revived Ali G because he is 'terrified of where society is headed'.

'Ali G: Who Iz I?' opens in cinemas on Friday despite 55,000 emails urging a ban.
