A manhunt is under way for a violent prisoner who forced his way out of a London medical unit
Anthony Lloyd, 38, walked away from the Lewisham unit in the direction of Catford, last seen at around 4.10pm on Friday. He was convicted in 2025 of actual bodily harm after an incident in Nottinghamshire involving three emergency workers, receiving a 12-month sentence, and was moved from prison to the Lewisham facility in September. Police say he could now be anywhere in London.
Det Supt Melanie Pressley warned: 'Do not approach him.' Anyone who sees him should call 999.
Lloyd has links to Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Merseyside.
When he disappeared, Lloyd was wearing a grey-blue T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
