Accused murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon blames his childhood friend for helping hide the Sydney couple's bodies in a handwritten statement
Beau Lamarre-Condon, the former New South Wales police officer on trial for the murders of television presenter Jesse Baird and his boyfriend Luke Davies, has claimed in a ten-page handwritten statement that his childhood friend — known by the pseudonym Elizabeth Kennedy — talked him out of going to police and helped him dump the bodies. The statement, written in June 2025 and released by the NSW Supreme Court on Wednesday, describes Baird's death as accidental during a scuffle and alleges Davies shot himself.
Lamarre-Condon claims he told Kennedy 'everything' via encrypted app Signal the day after the February 2024 killings and sought her advice on what to do.
Kennedy previously told the court she drove to Bungonia with Lamarre-Condon but had no idea bodies were in the back of the van.
A cop friend, named as Fiona Rosso, sobbed in the witness box recalling how Lamarre-Condon turned up at her home and scrubbed blood from a rental van as she sat on the kerb watching.
