Adopted sisters separated at birth find each other by chance on OPPOSING softball teams in Montana

Samantha Rensvold, 19, had known she had a younger biological sister her whole life but had no way to find her — until a teammate nudged her during a tournament in Belgrade, Montana last August and pointed out that a girl on the other team was her spitting image. Rensvold checked the roster, her mum recognised the name Kyann, and the pieces fell into place. The two families compared notes and confirmed the same birth mother's name and the same hospital.

Rensvold, who grew up in Polson, and Kyann Dean, 18, grew up 400 miles apart in Worden — adopted as babies by separate families in Great Falls.

Their first meeting was a handshake on the softball field: 'It was almost freaky, like I was looking at myself — our mannerisms and stuff,' Rensvold said.

'Part of me was complete,' Rensvold said, adding the sisters now exchange daily text messages.
