AI giant Anthropic tells investors its quarterly revenue has surged to $16.8bn with an adjusted profit ahead of its float
Anthropic's quarterly revenue has reached $16.8bn, more than three times the $4.7bn it recorded in the first quarter of 2026. The Claude maker briefed investors in San Francisco that it achieved an adjusted profit in the third quarter and was cash-flow positive. Bankers say Dario Amodei's firm may seek to raise upwards of $100bn at its listing, which could come as early as November. Growth eased to 45 per cent from the second quarter's $11.6bn.
Adjusted profit excludes items such as share awards and does not represent true net profit.
Broadcom's boss called the AI market 'a casino' as the IMF warned of a crash.
The listing would top SpaceX's record float and value Anthropic at around $2tn.
