Thomas Randolph, a Las Vegas man who married six times and saw four wives die — three under suspicious circumstances — is serving 60 years to life at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada after being convicted of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of first-degree murder. Netflix documentary 'The Widower: Til Death Do Us Part', directed by Chris Smith, revisits the decade-long investigation by Dateline NBC producer Dan Slepian and Las Vegas detective Dean O'Kelley. Randolph was convicted in 2024 of orchestrating the 2008 killing of his sixth wife, Sharon Causse, and murdering the hitman he hired to carry it out. Just weeks before the documentary dropped, the Nevada Supreme Court rejected his latest attempt to overturn those convictions.
Randolph hired handyman Michael Miller to shoot Sharon Causse for her life insurance, then shot Miller dead himself and called 911 claiming a home invasion.
His second wife Becky Gault died of a gunshot to the head in 1986, initially ruled suicide, after Randolph collected a $500,000 life insurance payout.
