Ashley Flynn's sister Kayla Keyt testified that Alleigha Botner had conducted a 'years-long affair' with Caleb Flynn while both families attended the same church, and that she had 'no idea' until detectives contacted her after Ashley's death. Flynn, 40, is charged with shooting his wife twice in the back of the head at their Tipp City, Ohio home on February 16 and staging a break-in; he has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder. He wept silently and closed his eyes as prosecutors displayed graphic autopsy photos, with deputy coroner Bryan Casto testifying that Ashley was shot at close range, producing two parallel wounds and extensive skull fracturing.

Hours before she was killed, Ashley and her two daughters had enjoyed a Galentine's Day spa night — photos of which were shown to the jury.

Investigators dragged storm drains with a high-powered magnet in search of the murder weapon but recovered nothing.
