American patient guns down his dentist in Mexico over a LOOSE TOOTH, then is killed in a shootout with police

Ernesto Rascón, 30, a US citizen from Prescott, Arizona, had previously been treated by Amed de Jesús Preciado Hernández, 42, at the dentist's Nogales practice. On October 15, Rascón showed up visibly agitated and demanded an immediate appointment without having booked one, but was turned away. Surveillance footage allegedly captures him pursuing the dentist to his pickup truck and firing multiple rounds through the windscreen and driver's door. Rascón died on Saturday after opening fire on officers who were raiding a property in Agua Prieta, according to officials.

Two officers were wounded in the Agua Prieta shootout, one of whom was grazed on the head.

Rascón's prior record included drug use and driving under the influence.

Mexican investigators worked alongside US authorities to identify and track down the American suspect.
