Anchorman star Christina Applegate says she was wrongly diagnosed with MS five years ago, and her illness is getting WORSE

Christina Applegate's doctor walked in and said 'Congratulations, you don't have MS', but the actress, 54, was 'not happy at all'. She revealed the news in tears on her 'MeSsy' podcast with Jamie-Lynn Sigler on Tuesday. It came after a seven-month break and a hospital stay. Doctors will now start investigating what has caused her daily symptoms since 2021.

Doctors questioned the diagnosis after her body showed no change when MS infusion treatment stopped.

Cedars-Sinai neurologist Dr Marwa Kaisey said almost one in five people told they have MS don't.

Applegate says she still has 'every single' MS symptom and has 'lost everything' to the illness.
