Sarah Ferguson is set to return to the UK as early as Monday, having lined up a six-bed rental at £10,000 a month in a gated community in the Home Counties following seven months spent in Switzerland and Austria. Andrew, 66, was seen behind the wheel of a green Range Rover Autobiography — registered in May — on the Sandringham estate, where he has lived since being forced to leave the 30-room Royal Lodge in February. The pair lost their royal titles and were removed from Windsor after 18 years, with Ferguson staying abroad throughout that period.

The £120,000 hybrid SUV offers 543 horsepower, a massage function, leather seats and a high-end touchscreen console.

Ferguson had her housing taken care of for the past two decades, and those close to her say the moment is now right for her to rebuild her life.

Meanwhile, an upcoming film called 'The Janitor' — featuring 'Peaky Blinders' actor Harry Kirton — dramatises Andrew's removal from public life, with its producer saying it exposes 'abuse of power.'
