Andrew 'utterly convinced' he will clear his name as judicial review of arrest warrants begins this week

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has filed for a High Court judicial review seeking to quash the warrants used to search his Sandringham Estate and former Royal Lodge property, and to challenge the circumstances of his arrest on his 66th birthday in February. He was held for 11 hours at Aylsham Police Station on suspicion of misconduct in public office after allegedly sending confidential trade documents to Jeffrey Epstein. A private hearing is scheduled for Thursday, with Thames Valley Police pushing for restrictions on the release of court documents, arguing publication could harm the ongoing criminal investigation.
A senior Metropolitan Police figure reportedly questioned why Andrew was arrested rather than simply invited to the station for voluntary questioning.
Thames Valley Police confirmed in a statement that it is engaged in legal proceedings over 'warrants previously obtained from the Central Criminal Court' but declined to comment further.
