Andy Burnham faces a revolt from his own Labour MPs over the North Sea drilling ban and Net Zero taxes

Backbenchers Henry Tufnell and Steve Yemm have set up the cross-party Industry First Group to press the PM for fresh oil and gas licences. Tufnell warned Britain cannot let decarbonisation turn into 'deindustrialisation'. Offshore Energies UK boss David Whitehouse is also urging Burnham to open a 'bigger pipeline of projects'. Ministers are expected to rule on the Jackdaw gas field within days.
A Yonder poll found 73 per cent of voters want ministers to do more for industry.
Burnham is sticking with Labour's manifesto ban on any new North Sea licences.
Cambo and Tornado are among five more projects queuing behind Jackdaw and Rosebank.
