Sir Andy Murray, 39, and wife Kim, 38, are set to open the doors of their five-star Cromlix Hotel near Dunblane in a three-part Channel 4 documentary titled 'Our Scottish Hotel', filmed across almost a year. The series captures the couple and their 80-strong team embarking on what they call the biggest financial gamble of their ownership — building a new wing housing two restaurants onto the Victorian country house they bought for £1.8 million in 2013.
The hotel closed for five months during the final phase of works, which also added a new fine dining restaurant called Cradle, extra bedrooms, and a woodland spa.
Kim, the creative force behind the hotel, says it is the first time she and Andy have worked together professionally, calling it 'a learning curve'.
Channel 4 has yet to confirm an air date for the series, which was produced by Rogan Scotland.
