Zahara Marley, 21, had her name legally changed from Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie at Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, with Judge Virginia Keeny finalising the decree after no objections were raised. A source close to Brad Pitt called it the latest example of 'an incredibly effective campaign of alienation against the father', adding that 'no one wins in this situation'. A source close to Angelina Jolie hit back, calling it 'a new low' for Brad's camp to 'attack his own child' and noted Zahara 'has had the grace not to discuss the details of his behaviour in public'.
Zahara is the third Pitt child to remove the surname, following Shiloh, 20, in 2024 and Maddox, 25, earlier this year.
Zahara and Maddox both published formal notices of their intent in the Los Angeles Daily Journal months before the hearings.
A spokesperson for Brad Pitt declined to comment on the ruling.
