Anthony Joshua reveals Tyson Fury's uncle is helping him prepare for their December Cardiff showdown

Anthony Joshua has landed a psychological blow on Tyson Fury by revealing that Fury's own uncle, trainer Peter Fury, is feeding him advice ahead of their £150 million heavyweight clash at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on 11 December. Joshua, 36, made the disclosure at Wednesday's London press conference, saying Peter is "willing to help" and has shared ideas on training and fight approach. Fury, 38, hit back on Instagram, insisting "this is the biggest BS I've ever seen — no Fredo here guys." Ben Davison has been confirmed as Joshua's lead trainer for the fight.

Peter Fury trained Tyson to his first world titles when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, but the pair are understood to have had no contact for over a decade.

Promoter Eddie Hearn set the tone at the press conference, warning the crowd to "be prepared for f***ing war on December 11."

Joshua said of Davison: 'I believe Ben Davison will get me one step closer to landing the perfect punch to pin Fury to the ground.'
