Anthropic partners with private equity firm Hg to launch European AI consultancy targeting enterprise clients

The new venture is expected to open by the end of the year, with offices in London and Berlin. Its client base will consist of B2B software companies and white-collar firms. Anthropic will fund it from its own balance sheet, while Hg invests through its managed funds. The goal is reportedly fresh revenue to help offset data centre costs ahead of a planned stock market listing.

A leaked draft IPO filing reportedly revealed that Anthropic's net loss exceeded $80bn in the first half of 2026.

Anthropic's legal AI tool sent European legal software shares tumbling in February.
