'Anti-Zionism is a form of antisemitism': Nas Daily founder says Israel's critics 'just really don't like Jews'
Yassin, 34, is a non-religious Muslim of Palestinian origin from the Galilee town of Arraba, with over 68 million followers online. He spoke at a conference on fighting Jew-hatred hosted by the David Merage Foundation. He called Zionism 'the most vanilla thing in the world'. He insisted he is no fan of the Israeli government but said the backlash against it is driven by antisemitism.
After the October 7 Hamas attacks, he began calling himself Israeli first, Palestinian second.
He said he 'could not relate to the extremism' he saw after the massacre.
'The success of Israel and the Jewish people is also my success,' he said.
