Architect Simone de Gale is convicted of drunken flight assault after screaming 'you're just an air hostess' at crew

Simone de Gale, 44, who founded her own architecture firm and previously met the King and the Princess of Wales, was convicted in her absence of four offences after failing to attend her trial at Ealing Magistrates' Court. Cabin crew member Sarah Buckland told the court de Gale jabbed a finger in her chest and grabbed her cardigan after being asked not to pass a narrow section of the plane where a nine-month-old baby was sleeping. A warrant has now been issued for de Gale's arrest.
De Gale accused crew member Sarah Buckland of racism, claiming: 'You would never ask a white person' to avoid that part of the aircraft.
Multiple passengers gave evidence that de Gale repeatedly swore at staff, calling them 'f------ air stewardesses' throughout the Virgin Atlantic flight from Dubai.
Footage from her Heathrow arrest shows de Gale telling officers 'I've not touched anyone or anything' and claiming she had recorded everything on video.
