Hallie Shoffner, a farmer running as the Democratic Senate candidate against Tom Cotton in Arkansas, made the remarks on the 'Free Arkansas Podcast' during a wide-ranging discussion about immigration. Cotton's campaign accused her of implying she had personally hired illegal workers and demanded every Democrat running for Congress answer whether they agree illegal migrants are worth more than Americans. Shoffner's campaign did not deny employing undocumented workers.
