Arsenal's Max Dowman, 16, is presented with three Guinness World Records before he has even turned 17

Max Dowman has received three Guinness World Record certificates confirming him as the youngest person ever to score in the Premier League, win the Premier League, and feature in the Champions League. The attacking midfielder set all three records before his 17th birthday on December 31, across just 15 appearances for Arsenal. Arteta described his two-goal Carabao Cup performance against Ipswich last month as 'unbelievable', and the teenager is now in line for a greater role following injuries to Kai Havertz and Christos Tzolis.

Dowman claimed the youngest Champions League player record at 15 years and 308 days, eclipsing Youssoufa Moukoko's mark by 75 days.

His record-breaking Premier League goal against Everton in March broke a record James Vaughan had held since 2005, when the former Toffees striker set it.

Guinness World Records senior editor Tom Beckerlegge said achieving three records 'before turning 17 is extraordinary'.
