Harry Redknapp has backed 16-year-old Arsenal sensation Max Dowman to earn his first England call-up, saying Tuchel should throw the youngster in and "see" — pointing to Spain's willingness to blood teenagers. Dowman became the second youngest player in Premier League history on his Arsenal debut in August 2025 and went on to become the youngest-ever top-flight winner when the Gunners claimed the title.
Redknapp told the 'Jeff Stelling Show' he is convinced Dowman will be in the squad for the Euros, citing a two-goal display against Ipswich as proof.
Tuchel resisted calls to include Dowman in England's World Cup squad this summer, but has since indicated the door is open for the teenager.
The push for Dowman comes as England's midfield options are already in flux, with Alex Scott and Ezri Konsa both withdrawing from the current squad through injury.
