Markets across Asia are trading mixed this morning after a bond sell-off and a drop in oil prices rattled global equities on Thursday, with London's FTSE 100 ending the day down 0.2% at 10,679.99. The turbulence comes as President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed at the White House to extend their trade truce by two months, though the two remain at odds over Beijing's support for Iran. Analysts at XTB warned that unresolved questions over the Iran war, Strait of Hormuz oil flows and Ukraine's strikes on Russian refineries mean volatility will continue to dominate commodity and bond markets.
London's FTSE 250 fell 0.9% on Thursday, with Wall Street's Dow Jones down 0.7% at the London close.
