Attenborough's Blue Planet III films a clever Australian dolphin blocking coral crevices with sea sponges to trap her prey

The bottlenose dolphin, nicknamed Gambara after an Aboriginal word for clever, was filmed in the shallows of Shark Bay in Western Australia. Director Yoland Bosiger believes she is probably 40 years old. The crew tracked her by drone using her distinctive dorsal fin and filmed her with a hidden 'stone fish camera'. Sir David Attenborough narrates the six-part series in his centenary year.

Sir David changed 'every single line' of the script for the opening Tropical Seas episode.

Series producer Lara Bickerton admitted she cried on first hearing his narration.

Viewers will see a dugong passing dung, a moment Sir David makes very funny.
