Australian officer Beau Lamarre-Condon allegedly told a friend 'I've killed people' and said 'pew pew', murder trial hears

Hours after the shootings, Beau Lamarre-Condon allegedly texted the same friend: 'I should get an Oscar, hey.' He is accused of murdering ex-boyfriend Jesse Baird and Baird's new partner Luke Davies in a Paddington terrace in February 2024. The friend told the NSW Supreme Court he refused a request to skip work and help clean up. Lamarre-Condon, 31, denies murder and claims self-defence.

'I shot the first one through the head,' he allegedly told the friend.

He allegedly complained his legs were sore and 'didn't realise bodies were so heavy'.

Asked if a victim was Baird, he allegedly laughed: 'Would you care if it was a paedophile?'
