Australian wedding guest who survived Hunter Valley bus crash that killed 10 FORGIVES the opioid-addicted driver now serving 32 years

Sharyn Junkeer, seriously injured in the 2023 crash, says clinging to 'anger and hatred' towards driver Brett Button was hurting her healing. She had travelled from Melbourne alongside her husband Jason, her brother Laurie, and his wife Emma. She credits her faith with holding her together. Button, 59, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of dangerous driving causing death.

The bus flipped at a Greta roundabout on June 11, 2023, carrying guests back to Singleton.

Button was driving under the influence of an addiction to the painkiller Tramadol.

Newlyweds Andrew and Lynan Scott, and a mother and daughter, were among the dead.
