'Back at square one': Christina Applegate reveals her MS diagnosis was wrong, and her symptoms are getting worse

Her doctor broke the news with the words 'Congratulations, you don't have MS', more than five years after her 2021 diagnosis. The Anchorman and Married With Children star, 54, spent years on infusions that wreaked 'havoc' on her body. She still needs a wheelchair at the doctor's office and cannot walk from the car. An investigation into her daily symptoms is due to begin next week.

Applegate told co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler she feels she has 'let everybody down'.

Cedars-Sinai neurologist Dr Marwa Kaisey said almost one in five MS patients didn't have it.

Doctors once showed her almost 40 brain lesions, and new MRI technology overturned the diagnosis.
