Badenoch accuses Andy Burnham of dodging the 'difficult stuff' by appearing on Gogglebox with a Budget due next week
Kemi Badenoch said she was 'amazed' the Prime Minister found time for the show, insisting she 'never had time' even as a junior minister because it 'takes hours to do'. Burnham became the first PM on Channel 4's Gogglebox and fought back tears over Will, 41, who died a week after a bowel cancer diagnosis. He said he would 'make no apology' for leading with 'a bit of lightness'.
Burnham sat on a Downing Street sofa alongside Liverpool City Region mayor Steve Rotheram.
Badenoch branded the PM 'on social media all the time' and unable to do the job.
Burnham boasted that politicians can 'spot faithfuls and traitors a mile off'.
