Andy Burnham will tonight make history as the first prime minister to feature on Channel 4's Gogglebox, joining Liverpool City Region mayor Steve Rotheram to watch television inside Downing Street. The Stand Up To Cancer charity special was filmed in No 10. Burnham insists he leads with 'a bit of humour'. One critic asked whether anyone had reminded him he 'actually has to do some work'.

In the trailer, the pair argue about the relative merits of Quavers, Skips and pork scratchings.

Burnham boasted that politicians can 'spot faithfuls and traitors a mile off'.
