Banished Celebrity Traitors comedian admits he was a 'silly billy' for begging to be recruited and tips Romesh to win

Joe Lycett said the Faithful were 'thick as mince' for not spotting that he was the obvious recruit, but conceded he had 'done this very much' to himself. He took almost every vote after clashing with James Blunt at Friday's round table. Some 9.3 million viewers watched his exit, with the audience peaking at 9.6 million. He also tipped Jerry Hall or Joanne McNally as possible curveball winners.

On 'Uncloaked' he guessed Romesh Ranganathan, James Blunt and Michael Sheen were the Traitors, and got all three wrong.

The real Traitors are Maya Jama, James Acaster and the newly recruited King Kenny.

Lycett joked the Traitors should find a contract clause to bring him back: 'I'm there if they want me!'
