Barbara Windsor's widower Scott Mitchell splits from EastEnders actress Tanya Franks, revealing they quietly parted back in April

Scott Mitchell, 62, says his relationship with Tanya Franks, 59, has evolved into 'a now incredible and kind friendship'. The spark had reportedly gone earlier this year. The pair bonded while training for the 2019 London Marathon to raise money for Dementia Revolution. Their romance went public in 2023, three years after Dame Barbara Windsor died from Alzheimer's aged 83.

Franks played Rainie Cross in EastEnders on and off for 15 years.
