John Hunt, the BBC Racing commentator whose wife Carol and daughters Hannah and Louise were murdered by crossbow killer Kyle Clifford in July 2024, has completed a nine-day, 120-mile charity walk from his family home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, to Bournemouth — a town the family long cherished as their holiday retreat. Hunt and his daughter Amy were joined by family and friends for the final stretch, finishing at Bournemouth Pier to applause and an emotional embrace.

Kyle Clifford, 26, stabbed Carol, 61, raped Louise, 25, then used a crossbow to shoot Hannah, 28, and Louise; sentenced to life in March last year, he will never be freed.

Hunt said the walk brought 'elated, exhausted, sad — all the emotions', adding that Monday marked what would have been his 35th wedding anniversary with Carol.

The Hunt Family Fund, set up to combat male violence against women and girls, has now raised over £90,000, with the pair hoping to reach £100,000.
