Strictly Pro Dance Off, a new seven-minute interactive children's series, is set to premiere on CBBC and BBC iPlayer on Saturday morning, the same day the main Strictly Come Dancing series returns for its 2026 season. Dianne Buswell, who became a first-time mother this year with former Strictly partner Joe Sugg, will lead the debut episode. Each episode sees one pro teach two colleagues a routine before they compete in a live dance battle, with the lead pro holding the score paddles.
The show airs weekly as part of CBBC's Saturday Mash-Up!, making it the franchise's first new spin-off format in 22 years.
All Strictly professionals will appear across the series, including five newcomers Aleksandra Isaeva, Cristian Priori, Lethabo Monametsi, Maddie Ingoldsby and Mark Karmalita.
Buswell's debut episode features Kai Widdrington and Lauren Oakley going head-to-head in a Jive battle at 9am.
