BBC 'pays £400,000' partly from the licence fee to Jewish producer who says she was bullied out over anti-Semitism

Lucie Kon, an Oscar-winning documentary maker who worked on Panorama and BBC Breakfast, claims colleagues called Zionists like her 'evil' after the October 7 Hamas attacks. She alleges she was told to ask 'what drove Hamas' and to label Israel terrorists too. The BBC settled her unfair dismissal claim without admitting liability. It has issued no apology.
Kon says that after she complained, the BBC kept her at home for months, then pushed her out.
'It was like having Jew stamped on my forehead,' Kon said of the post-attack atmosphere.
She is reportedly the first person the BBC is known to have paid over anti-Semitism.
