'Be a journalist': US Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed clashes with Fox host Bret Baier over his 2012 Muslim Brotherhood letter

The letter, signed by El-Sayed and more than 30 others, urged Egypt's then-president Mohamed Morsi to 'purge the media and police'. The Michigan Democrat cut Bret Baier off repeatedly, saying 'I'm not interested' in anything pulled from it. Republican rival Mike Rogers then appeared on 'Special Report' and repeated his claim that El-Sayed 'has adopted the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood'.

El-Sayed accused Baier of questioning his 'dual loyalty' and told him: 'Don't be Rogers' campaign.'

He insisted: 'I have never been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I never will be.'

El-Sayed is now running a six-figure ad aimed at MAGA voters on Fox News and Newsmax.
