Bedbugs are reported on Southeastern trains AGAIN after six London-Kent services are cancelled, but the firm denies any infestation

The first sighting came at about 6.30am on Thursday on a train from Slade Green Depot in Bexley, bound for Charing Cross. An off-duty Kent Integrated Control Centre worker raised the alarm, and the train was pulled from service at Dartford. Photographs appear to show the parasites on blue-and-black upholstery. Southeastern insists contractors found no trace of them in passenger areas.

An internal email revealed that a driver noticed three bed bugs on a poster in the Hastings crew room.

Earlier this month, bugs found in drivers' cabs left drivers refusing to board trains.

Union chief Maryam Eslamdoust said passengers shouldn't have to worry about 'taking bedbugs home'.
