Beijing has allowed only a single still image of the Nepal-Tibet floods onto state media, while the full CCTV footage of a wall of water destroying Gyirong Port has spread across the rest of the world. China has reported just seven recovered bodies and over 500 missing in Tibet, but survivors' first-hand accounts are almost impossible to find online. Tibet's long history of resistance to Communist Party rule makes it especially sensitive to Beijing's censors. Nepal's confirmed death toll has reached 675, with nearly 3,000 unaccounted for across both countries.
