Bias row over Meta intensifies before Brazil's Sunday runoff as tech giant insists it treats Lula and Bolsonaro equally

Meta has told Brazil's electoral court that it treats President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Senator Flávio Bolsonaro on an equal footing. The two candidates confronted each other in a fiery two-hour debate on Band TV on Sunday, trading accusations and personal attacks.

Lula has demanded that Flávio Bolsonaro publish his financial records before polling day.

Lula is also pushing welfare payments out to Brazilians in the final stretch before the vote.
