Big Brother housemate is accused of 'gaslighting producers' after he denies dismissing his girlfriend's feelings despite 7,000 Ofcom complaints

Omar told Big Brother 'I've never dismissed a housemate's feelings' after ITV issued him a formal Diary Room warning in Wednesday night's episode. Viewers complained about his 'controlling behaviour' towards Rhianna, his girlfriend in the house. Women's Aid said ITV risked presenting abuse as entertainment. Many viewers have demanded he be removed from the house.

When Rhianna buried her head in her hands, Omar told her: 'Look at me – don't look away.'

He also told her: 'You've really f***ed me off by saying what you said.'

Big Brother called Rhianna to the Diary Room to separate the pair.
