Bill Maher dismisses Trump as a 'lame duck' after the president brands him a 'total loser' in a 1,300-word rant

Bill Maher, 70, recorded his 'Club Random' podcast dismissing Trump as "way less" of a threat before the president had even posted his 1,300-word social media screed — making Maher's 'lame duck' verdict a coincidence rather than a direct riposte. Trump's Sunday night Truth Social post, his longest ever, accused Maher of using a "laughter machine" on his show despite it having a live studio audience. The row erupted after Karoline Leavitt appeared on Maher's 'Real Time' on 23 October, the first episode since Maher dined at the White House with Trump, Kid Rock and ESPN host Stephen A. Smith on 15 October.
Trump ended his 1,300-word post with a pointed instruction to the comedian: 'Bill: Don't call anymore.'
Maher told Hollywood liberals wringing their hands over Trump to 'go back to the table and finish your $1,000 dinner for three people, you f***ing phony!'
Trump claimed Maher had pestered him for a second White House dinner through a go-between, saying the comedian 'respects me more than anybody.'
