Bond frontrunner quits the film firm he founded with wife Dua Lipa in a hint he is set for 007

Callum Turner, 36, has resigned as a director of TwentyTwo Films Ltd, the production company he set up with wife Dua Lipa last August, in a move that signals he is clearing the decks for the Bond role. The role is reportedly "all-consuming" and commitment to it is "a top priority of the producers." Screen testing for the hotly contested part reportedly took place in Berkshire last week.
The shortlist has been whittled down to four actors, with Jack Lowden and the actor also in contention alongside Turner.
Dua Lipa, tipped to record the next Bond theme song, has appointed lawyer David Farquharson to replace Turner as director of TwentyTwo Films.
Turner has stonewalled Bond questions all year, telling Esquire: 'I don't know anything, so I can't comment.'
