Boy, 15, found alive wandering Arizona desert by YouTuber after abusive mother dies from self-inflicted injuries

Ryker Lee, 15, was discovered alive in the Three Points desert in Arizona after a YouTuber conducting a livestream search received a tip on his whereabouts. His mother, Danielle Lee-Sharp, 39, had been arrested on child abuse charges while he was missing and died in hospital from apparent self-inflicted injuries on Sunday. Michael Menzie, 43, had also been charged with three counts of child abuse at their first court appearance on September 23.

Police found Ryker had been locked in a small, padlocked room inside an RV with no running water, which Lee-Sharp admitted meant he urinated into plastic bottles.
