Boy George tours Israel's Nova massacre site and says he was horrified by people claiming October 7 never happened

Culture Club singer Boy George, 65, met Nova survivor Ofir Amir and former hostage Omer Shem Tov — held in Gaza for 505 days — at the Re'im site on Tuesday, telling reporters he was shocked to find Jewish friends in London feeling "unsafe, powerless and frightened" after the attack. He said he needed to speak out, defying intense pro-Palestine pressure on artists to boycott Israel ahead of two Tel Aviv concerts.
His pro-Israel song 'We Will Dance Again' opens with the line 'You say genocide, I say war' — George says he researched the term and found it "not appropriate."
Boy George told the press conference he believes the song eclipses 'Karma Chameleon', calling it the most important thing he has ever written.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog presented him with a sculpture inspired by the red anemones of the Nova site, telling him: 'The people of Israel love you.'
