Brother of mob-linked informant claims he returned with blood on his hands on the night of the OJ Simpson murders

Joey Ippolito, a mob-connected figure turned secret informant, was at the crime scene, according to his own brother. Newly unsealed records show an 'extremely reliable' informant told authorities about the missing murder weapon. California prosecutors were unable to fully investigate whether OJ Simpson had an accomplice. Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were stabbed to death in Los Angeles in June 1994.

OJ Simpson was acquitted in 1995 but later found liable for the deaths in a civil case.

In 2006 Simpson told his ghostwriter: 'You know I couldn't have done this alone.'

Simpson died in 2024, and nobody has ever been criminally convicted of the double murder.
