BT, EE, TalkTalk and Vodafone top Ofcom's broadband complaints table while Virgin Media draws the fewest grumbles
A TalkTalk store, named by Ofcom among Britain's most complained-about broadband providers, drawing seven complaints per 100,000 customers between April and June.
BT, EE, TalkTalk and Vodafone each generated seven broadband complaints per 100,000 customers between April and June, exceeding the industry average of six. EE's figure climbed from the previous quarter, BT's held steady, and TalkTalk and Vodafone both recorded declines. The main drivers were faults, poor service and delayed connections. Virgin Media came in at four complaints per 100,000, with Plusnet and Sky sitting at five.
Plusnet drew the most landline complaints, many over how it handled complaints.
Among mobile providers, O2 and Sky Mobile attracted the highest volume of complaints.
Virgin Media topped the pay-TV complaints table alongside EE.
