Volodymyr Zelensky declared he feels "betrayed" by President Trump during a visit to Downing Street, accusing him of handing Vladimir Putin an "easy victory" by agreeing to import Russian diesel. Andy Burnham told the Ukrainian president "we are behind you and that will not change," as No 10 announced it would accelerate delivery of lightweight multirole missiles used to shoot down Russian drones. Zelensky warned that Starlink throttling by SpaceX had already cost Ukrainian lives, with interceptor systems failing at 1am during a Russian strike.
Elon Musk said it was the Trump administration, rather than SpaceX, that bore responsibility for throttling Starshield, the military version of Starlink used by Ukraine's forces.
Zelensky told Piers Morgan it is "painful" when Trump chooses sides: 'Not to the right side — this is not the right side of history.'
Overnight Russian strikes left at least 600,000 Ukrainians without electricity; Ukraine says it received no advance warning of missile attacks for a second consecutive night.
